Position Summary

Do you live and breathe social media? Are you on top of the latest trends and strategies that go into making a brand's social media presence stand out? Content is everything at Fair Harbor and we are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Content Production & Social Media Associate. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, creative thinker, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position needs to have a finger on the pulse of culture and trends that can be shared with the larger team to identify opportunities. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage cross-functional teams and agencies and ensure the timely execution of content production initiatives.

Essential Functions:

1. Organic Social Media Management:

  • Create a social media and video strategy from the ground up
  • Support marketing and business KPIs to support both top- and bottom-of-funnel objectives
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing organic social media channels for Instagram & TikTok
  • Create and curate engaging content, analyzing social media data, and using insights to optimize performance
  • A keen eye for trends and the ability to provide a constant stream of innovative ideas
  • Excel in storytelling, creating content that resonates with and captivates audiences
  • Pitch, develop and execute innovative social-first campaigns
  • Oversee content production for social media, including shooting and editing reels.
  • Manage the posting schedule for various social media platforms.
  • Help coordinate with social media influencers and creators to promote brand awareness and create social buzz around various initiatives
  • Coordinate with the rest of the marketing team to promote campaigns and drive conversions through social media

2. Paid Digital Advertising - Creative Production Management:

  • Has a knowledge of what is trending and creating the most efficient digital marketing ads
  • This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, with a keen eye for identifying emerging trends and audience preferences in key sectors
  • Craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience, driving product awareness, and supporting demand generation efforts
  • Collaborate with Digital Agencies for effective content production management.
  • Supervise the production of UGC ensuring agency and internal adherence to timelines.
  • Establish and maintain sprint cadence, coordinating with merchandising, planning, and marketing teams for seamless execution.
  • Gain buy-in and approvals (for example, from the Chief Brand Officer) on sprint before deploying to the digital agency.

3. Organic Social & Digital Marketing Content Strategy and Calendar Management:

  • Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with the organizational strategy, as directed by the CBO, for both organic social media and paid media content

4. Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets for content production initiatives.
  • Organize workflow to meet specified budgetary and deadline requirements.

5. Organize and maintain image Digital Asset Management (DAM) of final assets.

  • This includes but is not limited to, the process of organizing, storing, and retrieving digital assets such as images, videos.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communicator with strong writing, editing and social media skills and an attention to detail; ability to deliver creative content (text, images, and video)
  • Proven experience in content production management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Supervision Received:

  • · Reports directly to the Chief Branding Officer

Scheduling Requirements:

  • May require some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet deliverables.

Travel Requirements:

  • May require the ability to travel locally by car/public transportation.

Workplace Requirements:

  • We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence.
